We have been very lucky to have been gifted a brand
new van by Highland Cross, this means that we will be able to uplift more items each time as it is bigger than the previous
one. Our thanks go to Highland Cross, Hawco's garage and Inverness signs.
We are given donations of second
hand furniture for members of the community, to pass on to those in need in return for an agreed donation. Anyone who
wished to donate or needs some furniture please contact us on 01478613533 or pop in.
We have a trailer and can uplift
or deliver, however due to staff shortages it would be greatly appreciated if you could deliver/uplift your goods.
Unfortunately due to some recent problems we would like to remind those requesting furniture that we will not off load items
until we have received the agreed donation.
Below is a list of what we have available at the moment.
Due to the recent charges implemented by the Highland Council for
their bulky goods uplift we have been inundated with requests for unlifts. While this is great for our project, some
of the items are given to us instead of TEC services due to the charge so we have had to implment our own charge of £5
per uplift (thats per visit to the property not per item). We also now have the old swimming pool as a store for
our furniture so we have more room than ever. We have a great shortage of white goods (cookers, fridges etc) ,
so if you or anyone you know is getting a new appliance then we would be grateful of the old one so long as it's in working
order.
