How to become a SLMHA Volunteer

Work with Us

We have a dedicated team who frequently go above and beyond their remit in order to make sure our members are safe and feel cared for. Without our team our services would be greatly affected.

There are no paid positions available at the moment, however if you are interested in volunteering please have a look at the Volunteer Job Description and application form on this page or download it as a Word Document:

I have been coming to Am Fasgadh for years now, without it I would not know what would happen to me, in fact I probably wouldn’t be here. The staff help me with everything, I need a bit of extra help with things like mail, forms etc, but they always help me with no judgement. I eat all my meals at Am Fasgadh, and spend around 6-7 hours a day there . I love the trips as it allows me to get places as I can’t get around very easily due to my physical health, I wouldn’t be able to get off the island without their support. They help me with my GP appointments and help me voice my concerns. I have no family in Skye so I really appreciate what they do for me.
